Dear Friends,

Julie, the kids, and I had a fantastic time at the Jersey shore. (It's nothing like the reality TV show, by the way.) I'm now back in the EHNT groove.

Shabbat morning services this Saturday will be special, for we will join with Kehillat Shalom in the chapel. Members of both EHNT and KS will lead services. 

I am so pleased our two congregations enjoy a close relationship. We daven together during the weeknight minyanim; we learn together at classes; we make "l'chaims" together at kiddish, and so on. So this joint summer Shabbat service presents another way for us to enjoy each other's company. 

We sing in anticipation of each new month, "Chaverim Kol Yisrael -- all of the Jewish people, friends." Let's take every opportunity to put that important ideal into practice.
