Dear Friends,

Several congregants have recently been to or will soon be in Israel. Some have volunteered, some have taught, and others have just wanted to be there. In all cases, they are showing solidarity with the Jewish state during this perilous, tragic time. 

At Shabbat services this Saturday morning, Beth Farber and Robin Richman will discuss their recent volunteer experiences in Israel. Please come hear them! 

In the coming weeks, I will arrange other opportunities for us to hear from those who are spending time in Israel.

This is, indeed, a time of tragedy. So many have and continue to suffer. There are many ways to help, both by visiting and by supporting organizations that are doing effective work. If you would like to discuss options about how you can help, please reach out to me.
