offer a second weekly Shabbat morning service which meets in attended by
people of all ages: singles, couples, families, teens and seniors.  The Minyan
participatory worship. The Minyan has been in existence for 14 years, and
recently changed locations and joined Ezra Habonim, the Niles Township
Jewish Congregation.  Run completely by lay people, the Minyan service
begins at 9:30 a.m. on Shabbat and holidays.

Although it is not officially a "learner's minyan," guidance and
encouragement are provided to participants still developing their synagogue
skills.  Children's programming is available beginning at 10:00 a.m.

You now have your choice of two wonderful services each Shabbat morning
-- our clergy-led sanctuary service, or the Skokie Egalitarian Minyan.  Both
are terrific options for you to consider.  Our world famous cantor, Benjamin
Warschawski when in town, co-leads the main sanctuary service with the
rabbi.  Both services end at the same time, which allows the entire
synagogue community to be together for Kiddush.
